Richie Barker has called on the players to end the season on a high, even if the play offs may now be out of our reach.

Speaking to the Official Site Barker said he still wanted to grab a tenth away win of the season in our first visit to Oldham’s Boundary Park.

‘All we can do is go up there and try and win the game. If we come back afterwards and other results have gone against us then there is nothing we can do about that. Their (the fans) support has been magnificent and we want to hopefully reward them with one more good away performance.’

Only McFadzean is missing for Barker, and he knows with Oldham trying their hardest to pull away from the drop one, they will certainly be a tough competitor on the day.

Barker also jokes it’ll be a strange feeling facing off against one of only two managers in the league that are younger than him.
