Crawley were on course to extend our unbeaten run, and claim a credible point, against league 1 leaders Bristol City on Saturday afternoon until we were denied late on.

A nil-nil draw, with the gameplan working perfectly, was set to be the outcome but a goal three-minutes from time was enough to secure Bristol City a one-nil win and keep them at the top of the tree.

Crystal Palace loanee ‘keeper Price was called into action in the first half to make some fine saved from Agard and Bryan with our efforts generally limited from range with Miller and Oyebanjo having our best efforts.

Bristol City looked the more threatening but we defended well and applied the gameplan that Groves had spoken about ahead of the game brilliantly but with just three-minutes to play Ayling (87) volleyed past Price to give the hosts the points.
