Richie Barker has said the team cannot allow themselves to be complacent when we face Coventry this weekend.

Speaking to the Official Site following our fantastic 2-0 victory over Sheffield United, Barker said he wants the players to take that level of commitment and performance into the Coventry game and ensure we come away with all three points once again.

‘It was a tremendous performance and we should take a lot of confidence from it. We certainly can’t turn up and expect it just to happen, we cannot afford to be complacent. If we sit back and expect things to go for us we will fall on our sword.’

Despite the many off pitch problems Coventry have at the moment, Barker points out that they have been in and around the play offs for most of the season and that shows how good they can be on the day, and with the points deduction they will be looking to make up for lost ground again, so we will have to be on our toes and at our best.
