Crawley’s League 2 season continued with a draw against Wycombe at Broadfield on Saturday.

Much as another of the promotion favourites, Portsmouth, had been recently, Crawley held Wycombe to a nil-nil draw at home at the weekend.

The Reds could have won it late on with Deacon denied by Wycombe ‘keeper Ingram when clean through.

These were the match highlights.

You can see more like this on Crawley Town FC.

The other results this weekend were as follows:-

AFC W’don 2 – 1 Exeter
Accrington 1 – 1 Northamptn
Barnet 0 – 0 Cambridge Utd
Crawley 0 – 0 Wycombe
Dag + Red 1 – 1 Stevenage
Hartlepool 2 – 3 Carlisle
Leyton Or 2 – 0 Bristol R
Luton 1 – 2 Portsmth
Morecambe 4 – 1 Notts Co
Oxford Utd 2 – 0 Yeovil
Plymouth 1 – 0 Newport
York City 1 – 2 Mansfield

Looking at these results the stand out ones have to be the wins for AFC Wimbledon, Leyton Orient and Morecambe.

Exeter, fresh from a six-three defeat at Sunderland in the League Cup but perhaps not so much of a ‘hammering’ as the scoreline at the Stadium of Light suggests, possibly would have been favourites to beat Wimbledon but the Dons weren’t having any of that with a two-one win at Kingsmeadow!

Another Leyton Orient win isn’t a surprise at all, they’ve got a 100% record to start the League 2 season. They currently hold a three-point lead over second placed Plymouth after a two-nil win against a Bristol Rovers side that have returned to the Football League impressively.

Notts County aren’t going well with League 1 relegation last season seeing them find the going tough in League 2 so far with Morecambe thrashing them four-one at the Globe Arena. In the goals against Portsmouth last weekend, when they hit three in a three-all draw having been three-nil up, the Shrimps made no mistake this time!

Who was the Crawley Man of the Match in this game? That’s what the latest poll is asking so do cast a vote.

Did a starter, or someone from the bench, offer the most in this draw?

Select the Reds name you want from the list in the poll to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.

Crawley have a free midweek, as unlike most aren’t involved in the first round of the JPT.
