The feeling of defeat isn’t something that we had felt until Tuesday night, as our unbeaten start to the 2014/15 season ended.

In fact, not only was our unbeaten record ended our 100% recorded went with a 3-1 defeat against Bradford City, themselves remaining unbeaten and up to second in the league 1 table.

After a goalless first half, with our defence holding firm again, James Hanson (49) was the first player, in the league or cup, to breach our defence when he fired home from Stephen Darby’s cross.

Crawley weren’t behind for long though with Joe Walsh (54) heading us level within five-minutes as he converted Ryan Dickson’s corner.

A point wouldn’t have been a bad result at that point but Bradford had other ideas and took the lead when Billy Knott (62) restored the lead when he volleyed home his first goal for his new club just past the hour.

Bradford sensed blood and went in for the kill, only the bar denied Jason Bennett and his side a third before on loan Derby County youngster Mason Bennett (77) showed his ability as he chipped Brian Jenson to wrap up a three-one win.

We were always going to lose sometime; the next question mark will be how we react to this?
