Richie Barker has admitted losing today’s game in injury time was a bitter pill to swallow after the side worked so hard to draw level.

Speaking to the Official Site following the 2-1 loss to Oldham today, the manager admitted we weren’t at our best but overall he thought we deserved to take at least a point from the game.

‘We weren’t at our best today but losing to a goal so late when we probably deserved a point was hard to take. We could have defended the free kick better that’s for sure and we didn’t play anywhere nearly as well as we can but we still should have seen the game out and got a point.’

With the Play Offs now over for Crawley, Barker says he’s admanant the players won’t relax in the remaining games as he doesn’t want the season to fizzle out, we are going to maintain our standards and end the season well so we have confidence going into our next campaign.
