Manager Mark Yates confirmed yesterday that midfielder Conor Henderson had made the move to Scottish side Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a trial spell.

Linking up with the Scottish Premier League side over the weekend, Yates explained to the Official Site that the 24 year old did not figure in his plans moving forward, so the move was to enable him to sort out his future as soon as he can, given his deal with us expires come the New Year.

‘Conor’s contract is up in January. I have told him he does not figure in my plans at the moment and I want to give him as much opportunity as possible to get himself sorted out. We hope it works out well for him up in Scotland.’

Having made three appearances so far in 2015-16, and two of those being starts should he move on at this stage he will leave Crawley with a total of 17 starting appearances to his name, with a further five from the bench.

In that time he has also scored twice, having joined us from Hull City back in the summer of 2014.
