Crawley made another loan move into the emergency loan window before this closed at 5pm with Josh Emmanuel’s arrival confirmed on the Official Website.

He might have arrived but Conor Henderson has now left the Reds and isn’t going to return….

Scottish Premiership side Inverness had recently taken Henderson, who has only made three first-team appearance for Crawley this season, on trial but he’ll see out his Reds contract on loan with Grimsby.

The Official Website has confirmed he’s signed for the Conference side on loan until 30th December and with his existing deal expiring on 31st December he’ll be free to pen a permanent contact with the Mariners in January, or someone else?

A certainty would appear he’ll not return, as a Crawley player, to the Broadfield Stadium meaning he leaves having made 22 appearances in total since his arrival in 2014.

The positive relationship with Ipswich has once again been used the Reds’ advantage with Emmanuel secured on loan until 2nd January, so he’ll join his Tractor Boys teammate Josh Yorwerth at the club.

An 18-year-old right back, who originally came through the West Ham youth set up before signing a two-year deal with Ipswich in the summer, had made five first-team appearances for the Championship side this season.

Following his arrival boss Mark Yates said.

‘Josh is highly regarded by Mick McCarthy and we’re delighted he has agreed to let us have him for what is going to be a busy period.

‘He’s athletic and aggressive and I think he will adapt well to the rigours of League Two. We’d like to thank Ipswich for letting us have Josh.’
