It’s now 11 without a win for us after the nil-nil draw with relegation rivals Colchester at Broadfield.

Colchester often looked the more likely side to make the breakthrough but efforts against the woodwork denied them on more than one occasion with Young snuffing out an early chance for Sears before the post denied Moncur a breakthrough for the visitors.

Massey was next to threaten as he put an effort just wide with Sears the next to strike the frame of the goal with Szmodics’ follow up ruled out for offside.

Jensen remains transfer-listed but we had our ‘keeper to thank as he kept out a volley from Sears in the second half but when the same player beat him soon after the post prevented the Colchester striker a goal and made sure we took a point from the nil-nil draw….
