Talk about a ‘much-needed win’, this was definitely the case for Crawley on Saturday afternoon as we caused what would be deemed an ‘upset’ against promotion chasing Preston at Broadfield.

A late goal was enough, after we had previously been pegged back, to give us a two-one win, which was our first win in 16-games in all competitions!

Preston had threatened to take the lead before Ipswich loanee Wordsworth (18) marked his home debut for us with a goal as he bundled past Johnstone, who had saved his initial effort.

We were kept ahead thanks to Crystal Palace loanee ‘keeper Price, but he was finally beaten by Huntington (56) shortly after the half time break

A draw was looking on, after Oyebanjo had smashed the bar, but Fowler (87) came off the bench to mark his Crawley debut after his loan arrival from Nuneaton with a priceless goal to give us a two-one win.

Attention now turns to the MotM for us from this game, and who you think this was?
