Crawley were well and truly beaten on Boxing Day as Leyton Orient recorded a rare home win at the Matchroom Stadium.

An early setback was recovered from but in the end a couple of late goals saw Leyton Orient beat us four-one in the end.

With Price’s extension from Crystal Palace not extended it was veteran Jensen recalled but he couldn’t do anything to prevent Cox (6) from giving Orient an early lead as he fired into the top corner. The response was instant though after Harrold had headed against the post against his former side Smith (10) managed to force the ball home.

It wasn’t long before the home side were ahead again, Cox was the provider this time as he crossed for Dagnall (19) to restore the lead when he headed past Jensen.

Even though Orient lost ‘keeper Legzdins, meaning Woods went in goal, in the second half we couldn’t cause too many problems with Wright and Mooney closest to adding to the scoring for the home side.

Mooney (88) did secure the win though two-minutes from time as he followed up after Jensen had saved Dagnall’s effort with Dagnall (90+5) adding the fourth deep into injury-time, this defeat sees us drop into the relegation zone….
