Crawley suffered a heavy defeat at the weekend, as Dean Saunders tasted defeat for the first time since his appointment.

Not only were we beaten by Rochdale, who won for a third time to get their promotion bid on track, we were basically thrashed with them running out four-one winners at Spotland on Saturday afternoon….

Two-goals in five first half minutes started with Scott Tanser (33) putting them ahead with Henderson (38) making it two-nil at the break.

A third would have come had Done not seen his penalty saved by Price, after the same man was brought down by Oyebanjo with Elliott (76) bringing us back into the game with a little under 15-minutes to go.

Having threatened an equaliser Henderson (88) looked to end the hopes of a comeback with two-minutes left to play, with the four-one defeat in injury-time secured when Andrew (90+3) also scored.

This isn’t the way it was meant to go though as ahead of the game we just about thought we would win this game, these were the pre-match polls findings:-

Crawley win 34%
Rochdale win 33%
Draw 33%
