Crawley’s League 2 season continued with a draw against Plymouth at the Broadfield Stadium on Saturday.

A point against promotion chasing Plymouth was a good point for Crawley in this one-one draw, with the Reds hitting back late on to dent the promotion chasing sides hopes.

Ryan Brunt looked to have headed the winner for Plymouth just before the hour but with just seven-minutes to go, having come off the bench, Shamir Fenelon finished from close range to give Crawley a point.

These were the other results.

Saturday 20th February 2016
Exeter 1-1 Newport
Barnet 1-2 Wimbledon
Bristol Rovers 2-1 Morecambe
Cambridge 3-1 York
Carlisle 1-0 Stevenage
Crawley 1-1 Plymouth
Luton 2-1 Hartlepool
Mansfield 3-2 Dag & Red
Northampton 1-0 Wycombe
Notts County 0-1 Leyton Orient
Oxford Utd 1-2 Accrington
Yeovil 1-1 Portsmouth

The Northampton run continues, a 50-year plus winning run was equalled last time round with the Cobblers (one-nil) winning at Sixfields against play-off chasing Wycombe again to not only set that new club record of successive wins it also strengthens the promotion bid with them almost certain to be in League 1 next season.

With it looking a good bet to be as League 2 Champions!

Oxford’s (two-one) bid to join them took a knock as they lost again with Accrington, who have now closed in on the U’s, winning at the Kassam Stadium but Plymouth (one-one) missed the chance to open up more of a gap in second with a draw at Crawley.

With the play-off chasing pack congested Bristol Rovers (two-one) again Morecambe and Leyton Orient (one-nil) at Notts County responded well to defeats against Portsmouth and Northampton, respectively, last time to get those efforts going again.
