Crawley’s League 2 season continued with a win against Stevenage at the Lamex Stadium on Saturday.

A first half goal from Matt Harrold, a minute before the break, was enough to give Crawley the points against managerless Stevenage at the weekend as the Boro struggles continued.

These were the other results.

Saturday 6th February 2016
Bristol Rovers P-P Wimbledon
Cambridge 1-0 Dag & Red
Carlisle 2-0 Accrington
Exeter P-P Oxford Utd
Mansfield 2-1 Morecambe
Newport P-P Barnet
Northampton 2-0 York
Notts County P-P Hartlepool
Portsmouth 0-1 Leyton Orient
Stevenage 0-1 Crawley
Wycombe 0-1 Luton
Yeovil P-P Plymouth

Looking at these results the stand out ones have to be the wins for Carlisle (one-nil), Leyton Orient (one-nil) and Luton (one-nil).

If Carlisle are looking to get back into the top seven then Accrington are one of those they’ll likely have to challenge with a two-nil win at Brunton Park bringing them back into the mix with it a result the Cumbrians probably needed to get as to not drop further off the pace.

Leyton Orient moved back into the top seven, and above Portsmouth, after a one-nil win at Fratton Park that dented the Pompey promotion hopes. Both are in the play-off mix though with Orient completing the double over the south coast side, not something too many will be likely to claim when the season ends you suspect!

A season of ultimate disappointment for Luton is likely to be the case where it ends but Wycombe are looking for success, with a return to the play-offs at least the aim the Chairboys but they were beaten one-nil at Adams Park.
