Crawley’s League 2 season continued with a two-one defeat against Yeovil at Huish Park on Saturday.

Second half goals from Ryan Bird and Tahvon Campbell had Yeovil in control but Lee Barnard gave Crawley hope on 83-minutes but the Reds couldn’t find a leveller meaning it’s now five defeats away in a row.

These were the other results.

Saturday 23rd January 2016
Bristol Rovers 1-1 Plymouth
Cambridge 1-1 Hartlepool
Carlisle 1-1 York
Exeter 2-1 Accrington
Mansfield 0-2 Luton
Newport 2-2 Dag & Red
Northampton 3-1 Morecambe
Notts County 0-2 Wimbledon
Portsmouth 0-1 Oxford Utd
Stevenage 0-0 Barnet
Wycombe 0-2 Leyton Orient
Yeovil 2-1 Crawley

Looking at these results the stand out ones have to be the wins for Exeter (2-1) and Oxford (1-0) over Accrington and Portsmouth respectively.

If Exeter are to get back into the play-off picture the two-one win over promotion chasing Accrington, whilst denting their bid, could prove crucial at St James Park.

Oxford’s own automatic promotion bid was given a major boost, with Portsmouth’s suffering a setback, with the U’s going away from Fratton Park with a two-one win to leave them in a strong position in the top three.
