Crawley Town have today announced the capture of midfielder Mitch Rose on loan for the next three months.

The 20 year old joins us from Championship side Rotherham United, and we are just awaiting Football League ratification of the move now.

Having made his debut under former gaffer Steve Evans back in 2012, he has gone on to feature six times for Rotherham so far, and last season he spent time on loan with Northern Premier side Stamford to further his first team experience.

Last summer, the brother of Tottenham Hotspurs Danny Rose, signed a new extended deal with his parent club so clearly they are expecting good things as he continues to develop.

Speaking to the Official Site manager john Gregory said of the signing.

‘We felt we needed a bit more cover in midfield and Mitch is a player who has been on our radar for a while now. Steve has agreed to let him come down to us and I think he can play a part for us in League One during the next three months.’

Rose is likely to make his non competitive debut this weekend when we round off our pre season campaign with a game against a Chelsea XI.
