Crawley’s League 2 season gets underway against Oxford at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday to kick-off the 2015/16 season; which will of course see expectations high, at least higher, under Mark Yates of a better season than last time round as we look to bounce back to League 1 at the first attempt.

Oxford’s summer signings Liam Sercombe and Ryan Taylor (knocks) should be fit after pre-season worries in the last friendly.

Kemar Roofe signed from West Brom permanently so he and George Baldock could start. Sam Slocombe will start in goal after his own arrival.

Yates has decided not to include Izale McLeod, who will be leaving the Reds – if this isn’t confirmed by the time kick-off arrives.

Newcastle loanee ‘keeper addition Freddie Woodman and Fulham defender Liam Donnelly will both make debuts but Lanre Oyebanjo (cartilage) and Gavin Tomlin (hernia) will be out for a couple of months but Bryan Van Den Bogaert will only play if he gets international clearance in time.

The full fixtures this weekend are:-

Wimbledon v Plymouth
Accrington v Luton
Bristol Rovers v Northampton
Cambridge v Newport
Exeter v Yeovil
Hartlepool v Morecambe
Leyton Orient v Barnet
Mansfield v Carlisle
Oxford v Crawley
Portsmouth v Dagenham & Redbridge
Stevenage v Notts County
Wycombe v York City

It goes without saying the Reds will be ‘be hopeful’ of a positive result but will we get this?

Whatever the line up the boss goes with expectancy will be high but ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of three ways….

Crawley win
Oxford win

Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
