For a second successive game Crawley edged a five-goal thriller as we came away from Port Vale with all three-points to move us to within two-points of League 1 safety.

Similarly to Saturday, at Colchester, we twice came back from behind before eventually running out three-two winners at Vale Park!

Port Vale got off to a perfect start when a Marshall corner found Dodds (4) who made no mistake in opening the scoring early on, a lead that they looked set to take into the half time interval.

We had other ideas though with Wordsworth (43) firing low into the net to draw us level – even then Port Vale again restored their lead when Dodds (45) again struck just two-minutes later.

Early in the second half we levelled again when McLeod headed home, via the underside of the bar, then at the midway point of the second half the comeback was complete when Wood (69) headed home the winner!

We’re not making it easy for ourselves are we, but the main thing is we’re getting the wins but who was our MotM from this game? Cast a vote in the poll to your right.
