Manager John Gregory has said that the whole squad will be called upon as we head into a gruelling run of fixtures following our numerous postponements.

Tomorrow night’s game against Swindon marks the start of a run of 20 games in 69 days for the club between now and May 3rd, and all available Tuesday night spots will be used to get games in following the spate of cancellations we had over the last few months.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game, Gregory explained that he knew he would have to use the whole squad and the new loanees that we have brought in will definitely get game time as he bids to keep the playing staff as fresh as they can be during this run.

‘We know what is ahead of us, that’s why we will need every player in the squad to be prepared and ready to play. I have told them all that they will get opportunities at some stage. Everyone is very much part of the group. We have a big job to do and that’s why we need everyone switched on.’

Gregory points to the attitude and mentality of the players in the Walsall win last weekend, and he says that exactly what he needs from all of the players between now and the end of the season as with so many games in hand, if we can pull off the right results we can really fly up the league and give everyone a boost now.

Following the ridiculous sending off of Billy Clarke, he will be missing tomorrow night as he begins a two match suspension.
