Crawley moved out of the League 1 relegation zone again on Easter Monday following a win over Oldham, who have now had it confirmed that their season is basically over.

Going into the game I had said that Oldham had little to play for as they weren’t likely to go up and wouldn’t go down, that is now the case with our two-nil win at Broadfield leaving them 10-points off the play-offs…. More importantly for us it moved us out of the bottom four and leaves our fate in our own hands again!

Morgan had gone close to making an early breakthrough, having brought the ball down well but his effort was saved, even so it wasn’t much after that McLeod (15) did this as he headed a flicked effort home goal number 20 for the season from a fine Tomlin cross.

The lead was doubled just past the half hour mark when Richard Wood (33) made the most of a chance that dropped to him to finish from close range and leave us in control and see us to a vital three-points.

Jensen was equal to all that was thrown at him, making a couple of fine saves.

We’re now a point outside of the drop zone and have safety in our own hands, as said, but will we keep it that way?
